Worker terms
Last updated 10 October 2026. These terms apply between you and Wheel Limited, trading as Staffing Options ("we"), an employment business, when you work on temporary assignments we find for you. Before you agree them you receive your own key information document.
1. Your status
You are an agency worker engaged by us under a contract for services, not an employee. We are not obliged to offer you assignments and you are not obliged to accept them. Each assignment is confirmed to you in writing: the business, the work, the place, the hours, the rate of pay and how long it is expected to last.
2. Pay
We pay you weekly in arrears for every hour you work, as shown on your approved timesheet, whether or not the business has paid us. Your pay is never below the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage for your age. We deduct income tax and National Insurance through PAYE, and any other deduction only where the law allows or you agree in writing. You get a payslip every time you are paid.
3. Holiday
You are entitled to 5.6 weeks' paid holiday a year, in proportion to the time you work. If your hours are irregular, or you work only part of the year, holiday builds up at 12.07% of the hours you work and may be paid as rolled-up holiday pay, shown as its own line on each payslip; otherwise you book holiday and are paid when you take it.
4. Pension
We enrol you in our workplace pension when you qualify, and tell you when we do.
5. Equal treatment
From your first day you may use the business's shared facilities and hear about its vacancies. After 12 weeks in the same role with the same business you receive the same basic pay and conditions as a comparable employee; a break of six weeks or less does not restart the 12 weeks.
6. Working time and drivers' hours
Your working week is limited by law to an average of 48 hours, unless you choose to opt out in writing. Drivers covered by the drivers' hours rules cannot opt out, and must tell us in writing every week the hours they have worked or driven for anyone else, so that no assignment breaks a limit.
7. Checks
Before any assignment we check your identity and right to work in the UK, take references and carry out the checks your role needs. We keep only the outcome and dates of a criminal record check, never the certificate's contents.
8. Fees
We never charge you a fee for finding you work.
9. Ending an assignment
You or we may end an assignment by telling the other. We pay you for every hour worked up to then.
10. Your information
How we use your information is in our privacy notice. We share your details with a business only with your agreement for that job.
11. Complaints and law
Tell us first if you are unhappy and we will try to put it right; you can also contact the Fair Work Agency. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Your key information document
Before you agree these terms you receive a key information document of your own, which sets out:
- your name, our name, and the type of contract you are on;
- when you start and how long the work is expected to last;
- your minimum expected rate of pay, who pays you and how often;
- every deduction from your pay, including tax and National Insurance, and any fee for goods or services;
- your holiday entitlement and how holiday pay is worked out;
- any other benefits, and an example of your pay after deductions.
